Building week to strengthen a growing sector
According to industry analysts in Kenya, the residential construction sector is growing rapidly as both the government and private developers try to keep up with the soaring demand for housing occasioned by the rise in population. Ladin Fairs and Atlas Expo, Turkish trade fair organisers, in cooperation with Prime Connect Exhibition, a UAE-based trade fair organiser, will be hosting Kenya Building Week on August 20 to 23, 2015 at KICC, Nairobi, and presenting building industry solutions from all around the world. The 2015 exhibition will welcome more than 70 exhibitors from Egypt, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Kenya, UAE, Iran, Malaysia, China, Taiwan and many more, showcasing various products and services in the building and construction industry.

Montgomery acquires the W exhibition
Angus Montgomery has announced the acquisition of the W exhibition. W is the UK’s leading joinery and furniture manufacturing show. Damion Angus, managing director of Montgomery commented, “We are very excited about our involvement in this event and really look forward to working with the show exhibitors and the industry as a whole to take it forward in 2016."
W is now one of the UK’s largest trade exhibitions, covering 20,000 sqm at the NEC in Birmingham. The next edition of W will run at the NEC from the October 2 to 5, 2016.

The first Agrofood Nigeria organised by Fairtrade Messe und Ausstellung, Heidelberg, will take place from April 28 to 30, 2015, in the new Landmark Convention Centre in Lagos. The European Union has already announced its official support of the international trade fair. The French association, Adepta, will also be present with an official pilion and at least eight of its member companies attending. Furthermore, numerous international market and technology leaders he already booked their stands. In order to create synergies for exhibitors and trade visitors, Agrofood Nigeria 2015 will coincide with Plastprintpack Nigeria, the first international trade fair for the plastics, printing and packaging industry.
