Brazilian intralogistics hub
Cemat South America?will open its doors to 250 exhibitors from 23 countries on June 30 2015 in S?o Paulo, Brazil. This makes it the most important intralogistics fair for Brazil and South America as a whole. “We are expecting a slight increase in the number of exhibitors and visitors over 2013”, says Wolfgang Pech, senior vice president at?Deutsche Messe AG.
Brazil is growing particularly fast in the E-commerce sector, he says. According to a study by the Brazilian consultancy firm E-bit, last year every fourth inhabitant of Brazil actively purchased online. Overall E-commerce expenditure grew by six percent in 2014 over the previous year； for the current year, a further 20% increase is expected.
