摘 要:结合四川地区生态环境,选育生育期适中、抗病、抗倒、品质优、高产和适应性广的玉米杂交种.根据基因重组的原理,以优良玉米地方种质作为选系的主要基础材料,结合籽粒品质、综合抗性定向选择及配合力分析,加速选育优良自交系.成功选育出抗逆性强、抗病、配合力高和自身产量高的自交系宜2397,和外引系0151组配育成了玉米新品种‘显玉509’.试验结果表明:该品种具有高产、稳产、优质、抗逆性强、适应性广的特点,适宜在四川省海拔200~800 m的平坝、丘陵地区推广种植.利用优异地方种质和表现型好的杂交种进行杂交重组选育的自交系具有较强的适应性和高配合力,组配的杂交种产量高,品质好,具有广阔的推广应用前景.

Breeding and Cultivation Technology of High Yield, Eurytopicity New Maize Variety ‘Xian-Yu 509’

Abstract: According to the ecological environment of Sichuan Area, the experiment was conducted to develop the corn hybrid with characteristics of moderate growth period, disease-resistant, quality, high yield and wide adaptability. Based on the principle of gene recombination, the local germplasm was used as primary base population. Meanwhile, quality, comprehensive resistance directional selection and combining ability analysis on advanced generations were adopted to accelerate the selective breeding speed of inbred-line. Inbred-line ‘Yi 2397’ was successfully bred, which had the characteristics of strong resistance, disease-resistant, high combining ability and high yield. ‘Xian-Yu 509’ was bred which was combined inbred-line ‘Yi 2397’ and inbred-line 0151. The study indicated that the maize hybrid had plenty of merits, including high stable yield, quality, excellent resistance and the wider adaptation. It was adaptable for planting in plain and hilly areas at an elevation of 200-800 m Pingba of Sichuan Province. With hybrid recombination between local germplasm and good phenotype hybrid, inbred-line had the characteristics of strong adaptability, high general combining ability, and the cross combinations had high yield, and quality. And it had broad prospects processing utilization.

0 引言

西南玉米区作为中国主要玉米产区之一,常年玉米种植面积500万hm2左右,而其中四川省种植面积约为120万hm2,占整个地区玉米总面积的近四分之一[1-2].玉米在该地区农业生产中占有重要地位,然而,该地区自然生态条件复杂,丘陵和山区坡地多,水土流失严重,土壤瘠薄,光热资源较差,雨量分布不均,常发生季节性干旱和涝害,病虫害发生严重;农民耕作粗放、高产栽培技术研究和应用滞后,生产条件受到很大的限制,另一方面,育种材料和技术创新能力不强,产量较低,品质较差,加之玉米育种普遍存在周期长、效率低等问题,使得育成的突破性品种少,这些问题严重影响了玉米生产和玉米加工业的发展[3-4].

长期以来,该地区生产上主要的杂交种亲本集中在几个骨干自交系上,且主要是从一些美国杂交种和中国北方优良杂交种中选育而来[5-6].种质基础狭窄、单一化,缺少新的有突破性的种质,这就使得选育的杂交种产量水平没有太大突破,产量稳定性差,也阻碍了进一步提高 优势潜力和增强生产用种的抗逆性,在过去几十年的玉米育种实践证明,这些骨干自交系已经出现严重的退化现象,导致杂交种抗病性和适应性变差,种质改良和创新刻不容缓[7-8].
