编者按：很多同学在书面表达这一题型上,总感觉找不到能有效提分的方法,通常只会机械地写着一篇又一篇的习作.这样做的话,写作能力实在难有提高.事实上,要写出高分作文,除了练习必不可少,还要有意识地掌握并运用提分的各种“招”.比如：认清并避免犯各种语法或句式错误,把作文具体化,运用高级词汇、多种句型等.有了理论上的把握,加上扎实的训练,高考书面表达想不拿高分都难.

1. 名词直接使用

名词具有数的概念,分为可数名词和不可数名词.可数名词使用时要么变为复数,要么在其前加限定词,如冠词等,不能独立使用.不可数名词前使用零冠词,可以直接使用.

例1 错误：I’m writing to tell you my uncle is going to your city for conference.

正确：I’m writing to tell you my uncle is going to your city for a conference.

分析：“会议”是可数名词,但受汉语影响,容易直译,忽略冠词,导致名词直接使用的错误.

2. 形容词修饰动词

形容词可置于系动词后作表语,但不能用来修饰动词.单独一个形容词或形容词短语可以作状语,表示伴随、原因、结果、让步等.

例2 错误：The message conveyed clear： actions speak louder than words.

正确：The message conveyed is clear： actions speak louder than words.

分析：受汉语“意思表达清楚”的影响,用汉语思维直译,导致形容词修饰动词的错误.

3. 介词引导句子

介词不是连词,不能用来引导句子,其后可以接名词,也可接宾语从句,还可接独立成分,但时间状语前不能再加介词.

例3 错误：Despite there is such a big difference in attitude towards what one eats, there is no doubt that people in the west regard the Chinese food as something special.

正确：Despite such a big difference in attitude towards what one eats, there is no doubt that people in the west regard the Chinese food as something special.

分析：despite为介词,其后不能接宾语从句以外的句子,但受其汉语词意“尽管”影响,常误当作连词使用.

4. 不及物动词后接宾语

不及物动词没有宾语,也不用于被动语态,但受汉语思维影响,常在不及物动词appear /rise / wait / exist / agree等后接宾语.改正方法有两种,其一是将作宾语的名词改为作主语,作主语的名词改为作介词宾语；其二是部分不及物动词后可以加介词,改作介词宾语.

例4 错误：It has been discussed for many years whether the Mars exists water.

正确：It has been discussed for many years whether there is water on the Mars.

或It has been discussed for many years whether water exists on the Mars.

分析：受汉语“火星上是否存在水”的影响,犯了在不及物动词exist后接宾语water的错误.

5. be动词后接动词原形

be动词后可接形容词、名词、非谓语动词等,但通常不能接动词原形.

例5 错误：With the beautiful moon up in the sky, we love most is enjoy the full moon together.

正确：With the beautiful moon up in the sky, what we love most is to enjoy the full moon together.

分析：受汉语“最喜欢的就是去等”的影响,直接用汉语思维对译,出现be动词后接动词原形,同时出现句子作主语、缺少引导词的情况.
